What is Leadership?

Leadership is the way of guiding followers to achieve common desired goals.


Is Leadership related to Management?

In some sense, I would say there are some relationships because to have effective management there has to be qualities of leadership.


Do you consider yourself to be a Charismatic Leader?

Well, according to the way I do my work, I consider myself an influential individual towards my followers, so I think I am a Charismatic Leader.


Who inspired your Leadership?

Margaret Thatcher inspired me to become a leader, because of the confidence, courage and problem-solver she was during her time of leadership.

What is Leadership?

I think Leadership is showing the followers the best way to achieve goals through leading by example.


Is Leadership related to Management?

I am sure in order for you to manage a team you must be able to be a leader as well, so think the relationship of leadership and management is there.


Do you consider yourself to be a Charismatic Leader?

Yes.  Because I always influence my team to do their best and I always tell them to be ‘confident’ with the game.


Who inspired your Leadership?

People such as: Nelson Mandela; Pope John Paul II; and Martin Luther King inspired my leadership because of the integrity and compassion these men possessed during their time in leadership.


Transformational Leadership

Transformational Leadership involves strong personal identification of followers with the leader, the transformational leader motivates followers to perform beyond expectations by creating an awareness of the importance of mission and the vision in such a way that followers share beliefs and values and are able to transcend self-interests and tie the vision to the higher-order needs of self-esteem and self-actualisation, leaders create a mental picture of the shared vision in the minds of the followers through the use of language that has deep meaning from shared experiences, in addition, they are role models: In their daily actions they set an example and give meaning to shared assumptions, beliefs, and values.
